Using Assets in Edits
In Production Studio, the clips and audio you use come from your Asset Library and (when applicable) from the current Project. You add them to the timeline to build your edit.
Adding video and images
- From the library — Open your Asset Library or project assets from within Production Studio (or the linked assets panel). Select images or video clips and add them to the timeline. They become segments you can reorder and trim.
- From recent generations — Newly generated assets appear in your library; assign them to a project if needed, then add them to the timeline like any other asset.
- Order — Place clips in the order you want them to play. Images typically get a default duration; you can change it by trimming.
Adding audio
- Music and SFX — From your library, choose music or sound effect assets and add them to the audio track. Trim to fit the length of your edit or fade in/out.
- Generated audio — If you created audio in Sound Studio, it’s in your library and can be used the same way.
Best practices
- Organize in projects — Keep assets for a given production in one project so they’re easy to find when editing.
- Name clearly — Name clips in the library so you can identify them on the timeline.
- Check duration — For images, set a comfortable on-screen duration; for video clips, trim to the best part.
Your edit is built entirely from assets you’ve created or uploaded; Production Studio is the place to combine them into a final video. See Export Flow for producing the output file.
