Projects Overview
Projects are the main way to organize your work in MediaSnap. Each project groups assets, settings, and optional defaults so you can keep campaigns, clients, or series in one place.
What a project contains
- Assets — Images, videos, and audio you generate or upload and assign to the project.
- Characters — Reusable character identities attached to the project for consistent faces and personas.
- Environments — Reusable locations or backdrops for the project.
- Settings — Project-level defaults (e.g. default AI model, aspect ratio, style) so new creations stay aligned.
Why use projects
- Context — Everything for “Spring campaign” or “Client X” lives in one project.
- Reuse — Characters and environments in a project are available when you generate inside that project.
- Defaults — Set once per project; new generations inherit those choices where applicable.
- Clarity — Browse and filter by project instead of one flat list of assets.
Creating and using projects
- Create or select a project from the dashboard or Project Assets.
- When generating (Image Lab, Video Generator, etc.), choose this project so outputs are assigned to it.
- Add Characters and Environments to the project for reuse.
- Configure Project Settings and Project Defaults as needed.
See Project Settings, Project Defaults, Characters in Projects, and Environments in Projects for details.
