Trends (templates) in MediaSnap give you a fast path to short-form, trend-style content: pick a template, add your photo or asset, and generate. No timeline editing required.
What Trends is for
- Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style — One photo or asset → transformed into a trend-style video.
- Viral-style transformations — Use popular formats and effects without building them from scratch.
- Quick creative output — Get a result in one step instead of assembling clips in Production Studio.
Workflow
- Open Discover → Trends (or the Trends section).
- Browse and pick a template.
- Upload a photo or choose one from your Asset Library (or project).
- Generate — the result is produced and saved to your library.
- Use the result in your project, social channels, or as input to another workflow.
Trends vs Production Studio
- Trends — One template + one input (e.g. one photo) → one output. Best for speed and viral-style formats.
- Production Studio — Multiple clips, captions, and audio on a timeline. Best for multi-scene storytelling and full control.
Use Trends when you want a single, template-driven result; use Production Studio when you want to edit and sequence multiple assets yourself.
Example workflows
- Product launch — Hero image in Image Lab → use in a trend template for a short social clip.
- Character intro — Generate a character, then run it through a trend template for a quick intro video.
- Campaign consistency — Use the same template across multiple assets for a consistent look.
Templates and trends are a good way to explore what’s possible and ship content quickly; combine them with Direct Tools and Production Studio for more custom work.
