Project Defaults
Project Defaults are the preset choices that apply when you create new content inside a project. They reduce repetition and keep output consistent.
Typical defaults
- Default AI model — Preferred model for image, video, or audio generation in this project.
- Default aspect ratio — e.g. 16:9 for video, 1:1 or 4:3 for images.
- Default style or preset — If the tool supports it, a default look or style (e.g. cinematic, commercial).
When you open a generator with a project selected, these defaults can be pre-filled. You can still change them per generation.
Why use defaults
- Consistency — All assets in a project share the same base settings unless you override.
- Speed — Fewer clicks when you’re doing many similar generations.
- Team alignment — Everyone working in the project starts from the same baseline.
Defaults are configured in Project Settings. They only affect new creations; existing assets are not modified.
