Choosing the Right Model

MediaSnap offers multiple AI models for images, video, and audio. Choosing the right one depends on your goal: speed, quality, style, or a specific use case.

What to consider

  • Speed vs quality — “Fast” models are good for drafts and iteration; “Quality” or “Cinematic” models are better for final outputs.
  • Use case — Some models are tuned for portraits, product shots, cinematic video, or motion. Check the model card or detail page.
  • Cost — Premium or cinematic models may cost more per generation. Use faster models for tests and quality models for finals when it matters.
  • Style — Models have different visual styles (e.g. photorealistic, illustrated, cinematic). Match the model to the look you want.

How to choose in the product

  • Discover → AI Models — Browse by type (image, video, audio). Use Sort by (balanced, cheapest, fastest, best quality) to reorder recommendations; badges highlight best overall, value, fastest, and premium quality. See Model ranking & recommendations. Read each card’s “best for” and examples.
  • Info icon — In any generator, click the info icon next to the model selector to see strengths, examples, and prompt tips.
  • Model detail page — Open a model’s page for full description, gallery, recommended prompts, and limitations.

Start with a fast or general-purpose model to validate your idea, then switch to a quality or specialist model for the final result. See AI Models and Model Detail Pages for more.
