Best Practices

Practical habits that help you work faster and get better results in MediaSnap.

Organization

  • Use projects — Group work by campaign, client, or series. Set project defaults so new generations stay consistent.
  • Name clearly — Name projects, characters, and environments so you can find them later. Use your Asset Library filters (project, type, date) to stay organized.
  • Save your best outputs — When you get a strong image or clip, save it as a Character or Environment so you can reuse it.

Generation

  • Start with the right model — Use Discover → AI Models or the info icon to pick a model that matches your goal (speed vs quality, style, use case).
  • Prompt clearly — Include subject, setting, lighting, and style. Change one variable at a time when refining. See Prompting Basics.
  • Use references — When you have a character or environment, select it in the tool so the model keeps identity and location consistent.

Workflow

  • Don’t wait on the page — MediaSnap runs generations in the background. You can keep browsing and creating; you’ll be notified when results are ready.
  • Combine tools — Use Image Lab for hero images, Video Generator for clips, then Production Studio to assemble and export. Use Trends for fast template-based shorts.
  • Check usage — Monitor your Usage page so you know your wallet balance. Use faster models for tests and quality models for finals when it matters.

Quality and safety

  • Review before export — Preview your edit in Production Studio (timing, captions, audio) before exporting.
  • Asset safety — Before deleting an asset, check if it’s used in a project or production. MediaSnap will warn when an asset is in use. See Asset Safety.

Adopting these practices will help you move from one-off generations to repeatable, professional workflows.
