Environments in Projects

Environments are reusable locations or backdrops. Attaching them to a project makes them available when you generate images or video in that project, so you can keep the same setting across multiple shots.

Adding environments to a project

  1. Create or upload an environment (e.g. an empty room, exterior, or style reference).
  2. Save it as an Environment and assign it to the project (in Project Assets or the project’s environment list).
  3. When generating in that project, you can select this environment so the model uses it as context.

Using project environments when generating

  • Select the project in Image Lab or Video Generator.
  • Choose the environment from the project’s environment list (or “use environment” option).
  • Your prompt can describe action, lighting, or mood; the model uses the environment for the location or backdrop.

When to use environments

  • Campaigns — Same set, room, or location across all assets.
  • Series — Consistent world or setting for a story or channel.
  • Brand — Lock in a specific look (e.g. modern office, outdoor golden hour) for all project content.

Environments in projects are part of your Asset Library and can be reused across projects if needed.
