Using Project Context
When you work inside a Project, AI Director can use that project’s characters, environments, and defaults to make better suggestions.
What project context includes
- Characters — Saved identities in the project. AI Director can suggest “Use character X in Image Lab” or “Generate a video with this character.”
- Environments — Saved locations or backdrops. It can suggest using a project environment for new images or video.
- Project defaults — Default model, aspect ratio, or style. Suggestions can align with these so you stay consistent.
- Existing assets — Awareness of what’s already in the project (e.g. “You have 5 images; add them to Production Studio for an edit”).
How it helps
- Fewer choices — “Use your project’s default model and the Office environment” instead of picking from scratch.
- Consistency — Suggestions tend to keep the same characters and environments you’ve already set up.
- Faster flow — Less searching for the right asset or setting; AI Director points to the right tool and context.
Making context available
- Select the project — Work in a project (e.g. from the project selector or dashboard) so AI Director knows which characters, environments, and defaults to use.
- Add characters and environments — Attach them to the project so they appear in suggestions.
- Set project defaults — Configure Project Settings and Defaults so suggestions match your preferred workflow.
The more structured your project (characters, environments, defaults), the more useful AI Director’s context-aware suggestions become.
